Books are an amazing way to help kids learn! In the past, children’s books focused on one moral, usually stated right at the end like this: “and the moral of the story is _____.” But now, book are chock full of different messages about lifeskills, cultures, practical lessons, and values.
The other great thing is that with the variety we have today, there are so many different stories that cover the same topic, making it easy to find some that resonate with your child.
To demonstrate, I’ve taken 15 books by 10 of my amazing author friends, and looked for similar messages. From this small stack of books, check out how many common themes I found!
